Course description:
This one-day course is designed for riders who do not possess a driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement. The course includes an on-line class, which must be completed prior to the day of your course, riding exercises and discussions on motorcycle safety. Exercises practiced help riders hone their motorcycle skills including emergency braking, swerving, proper cornering techniques and slow speed maneuvers.

Enrollment Requirements: Student must be at least 16 years of age, hold a valid Vermont driver's license and valid State of Vermont motorcycle permit or have a valid Vermont driver's license endorsed for motorcycle operation.

Equipment Requirements: Students may bring their own street legal motorcycle. Motorcycles must be currently registered, inspected, insured, in good mechanical condition and meet Vermont inspection standards. Students not wishing to use their own motorcycle may use a program motorcycle for an additional fee.

Riding Gear Requirements: DOT compliant 3/4 or full-face helmet, if you do not have a proper helmet the program will have one available for you to use during the course; sturdy over the ankle footwear; long sturdy pants; long sleeved shirt or jacket; sturdy full-fingered gloves; protective eyewear.
