Department of State’s Attorneys and Sheriffs hires Bram Kranichfeld as Executive Director.

The Executive Committees of the Department of State’s Attorneys and Sheriffs announced today that they have hired Bram Kranichfeld as Executive Director. As Executive Director, Kranichfeld will represent the views of the State’s Attorneys in the legislature. He will also be responsible for preparing and administering the Department’s budget and for providing centralized support with respect to training, office management, and other areas.

“We are pleased to have hired Mr. Kranichfeld as our new Executive Director. His experience as a Deputy State’s Attorney and knowledge of our department make him an ideal fit for this position,” said Erica Marthage, Bennington County State’s Attorney and Chair of the Executive Committee.

Kranichfeld, of Burlington, has served as a Deputy State’s Attorney in Chittenden County since 2007. He begins work as Executive Director on January 22nd.

“I am thrilled to begin work as Executive Director,” said Kranichfeld. “I am deeply committed to the work of the State’s Attorneys and Sheriffs and am excited to continue to support them in this new capacity.”
