| Summary:
| Based on guidance provided by the Department of the Interior, and input from public meetings held August 10 and 11, 2010, this rule establishes migratory game bird hunting seasons and zones in Vermont. Seasons included are duck, coot, merganser, resident Canada goose, migratory Canada
goose, snow goose, brant, youth waterfowl hunting days, webless migratory game birds (woodcock and snipe), and falconry. Zones established are the Lake Champlain Zone, the Interior Vermont Zone, and the Connecticut River Zone. |

| Economic Impact:
| Income to the State from waterfowl stamp sales is
$25,000.00. Cost of printing stamps and syllabus is $5,000.00. The Vermont economy is positively impacted by 3000 waterfowl hunters and 1500 woodcock hunters spending approximately $600,000.00 annually. |
