| Economic Impact:
| The proposed rule is to update the existing rules by adding information brought about by passage of legislation since the prior version of the Rule, which includes an increase in the cost of Inspection Sticker, a change in the definition of "Moped" to "Motor Driven Cycle" which removes the reference to "pedals" and exempting trailers under 1,500 lbs. from having to be inspected. We have added additional sections of Title 23 and provided more General Information. In addition, we have made amendments to the Administrative Penalties which include raising the penalty fees, which have not be increased for more than a decade. |
